Except where explicitly noted, we are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on it, and the source code and algorithms developed for and used by it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

To protect student data, we do not record or use sufficient data to allow ourselves or anyone else to verify a student's identity. By signing up for and creating a teacher account, you agree to manage your own students' data, and to not seek to include additional information (such as the last names or email addresses of students) in our systems. Any attempt to circumvent our systems in this way is a breach of the conditions of use of our website, could potentially endanger your students by your deliberate exposure of their personal data, and may result in your teacher account and all associated student data and accounts being deleted from our systems without warning.
To comply with The Data Protection Act (1998), we may need to contact a teacher to verify a student's identity and process any request that student has made for access to their data. By signing up for and creating a teacher account, you agree to us contacting you, or the school or institution where you currently or have previously worked if we are unable to contact you directly, in order for us to verify a student's identity and provide them with any information they may have requested. - Viruses, Hacking and Other Offences
You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our site, the server on which our site is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our site. You must not attack our site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack.
By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing any and all information we hold about you to them.
